I feel the reason we need to cite our sources is with all the different books and papers out there, everyone would just copy and keep on going. What would we learn from copying? Absolutely nothing. I would confront that person and ask them why if I found out someone used my work without giving credit where it is due. I would also report him/her, because if I took the time to do the work, so could they. The current issues that have happened recently involving plagirism needs to be handle in the courts. I feel this way because a artist could be making some mad money off of someone else song and the original writer could be dead broke. Yes the internet blur the lines of legally owned.

Unit 5 Blog

My personal writing style is putting all of my ideas on paper first. After I complete that, then I take words or add words so that the paper starts to make more sense and not a bunch of stuff scattered everywhere. One thing about my academic challenge is time. My time management is horrible right now. I am in charge of a new clinic, son involved in every sport and my health is not all that it used to be. I have a couple friends that help me out, but in the end sometimes it all falls on me. School has influenced my life for the positive. My son really looks up to me for going back to school and my immediate family offer words of encouragement when I feel like giving up and throwing in the towel. I know seeing my name on that degree, will put a big kool-aid smile on my face.
